Coach 4 REcovery

Terms & Conditions

The Mindfulness Academy for Addiction & Trauma Training, dba Coach4Recovery (C4R) and its affiliates (collectively, “our,” “us,” or “we”) operate websites, provide training and certification courses, and provide recovery coaching and related services, through mobile and other applications, that are governed, as applicable, by our terms of use (our “TOU”).

Coach4Recovery (C4R) are not counselors, therapists or doctors.  C4R does not provide clinical or medical advice. The content on our sites and services are presented in a summary fashion, and is intended to be used for educational or informative purposes, only. Any information on our sites and any guidance from our recovery coaching services are not intended to be, should not be interpreted as, or used as a substitute for, clinical, therapeutic, medical advice or a diagnosis of any behavioral, mental, physical health or fitness problem, condition or disease; or a recommendation for a specific test, doctor, care provider, counselor, therapist, procedure, treatment plan, product, or course of action.

We assist clients with increasing their motivation, identifying and creating a plan to reach their goals, and help them remove barriers to their recovery. Although our recovery coaches are highly vetted and undergo additional training in the realm of mindfulness, we cannot guarantee the outcome of our services.

Note that our “hourly sessions” are 50 minutes in duration to allow our coaches some time to reset between clients. We encourage appointments to be made a few days in advance, but you may request an appointment the same day up to 4 hours before the start of the appointment.  Cancellations of appointments must be made prior to 24 hours of the start of service.

Recovery coaching services are conducted via third-party sites such as, but not limited to, Zoom or Skype. Use of these 3rdparty applications are subject to that third-party’s privacy policies and terms of use and are used at your own risk.  We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use of these 3rdparty applications.

We are not a clinical, behavioral, medical or healthcare provider and your use of our sites and services are at your own risk. You agree to be solely responsible for your use of our sites and services and for determining the suitability of, and the results obtained from, any professional you consult. Never disregard the clinical, behavioral, medical, other advice of your physician, counselor, therapists, mental, behavioral or health-care professional, or delay in seeking such advice, because of something you read on our sites or guidance you receive from our recovery coaches. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your physician or 911 immediately.

All purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-transferrable. Cancellations of subscriptions must be made within 30 days of purchase and prior to the second appointment with a recovery coach. The cancellation must be expressed to the recovery coach who will relay the cancellation request to customer service. Customer service will review the cancellation request and if granted, will process a prorated refund within 3 to 5 business days of receiving the cancellation request.
